This deck girder bridge crosses Gowan Avenue and Twelvemile Creek just north of US-12, between Waverly and Howard Lake.
Built in 1926, this bridge replaced a three span deck girder viaduct built in 1899. The current bridge consists of two deck girder spans, supported by concrete and stone masonry.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good to fair condition. Little deterioration has taken hold of the bridge, due to the effective use of a concrete deck.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
